Today's countdown

9 - companies I've emailed to get quotes for 8-Tracks tshirts
4 - jobs I've applied to
1 - phone/internet account set up with Aliant
0 - calls from uncles at the airport needing a drive to Carbonear

Not too bad. Fairly productive day. Though I'm still WAY behind on one project and I feel horrible about it. Everytime I sit down to work on it nothing comes to me. I've got to get something to them by Monday. Absolutely have to. It's like writer's block or something.

And now I'm off to call the city and see how I go about getting a parking permit for Area 7 so that I don't get a ticket parking in front of my own house (once I get the keys). Also got the number for a contractor so I will call re. stairs & beam. I think I may go out this weekend and buy one of those wallpaper perforater things, some wallpaper stripper and a scraper so that once I get the keys I can get in there and start taking down wallpaper. Joy.

downey works realllly well as wallpaper stripper and it's cheaper than buying "wallpaper stripper." and then you have some left over after for clothes, tho with the pics from your place, you might not have any left over ;)

Really? Downey? The liquid stuff I'm assuming. How do you use it? Just roller it on like paint? At the moment I'll be taking down the wallpaper in the living room and the kitchen and the border in the bedroom. Going to leave the hall for now I think.

hahha! I was just going to tell you that liquid fabric softner makes a great wall paper stripper.

just soak it on - we used rags, but I suppose you could use a roller. let it soak on, good and wet and then scape off. :D

Day One of stripping wallpaper done and the Fleecy isn't doing too bad of a job. Probably smells better than stripper too. I was at the house two hours today and the kitchen is about 60% done I'd say. Thanks for the tip.

Any chance of them coming in plus sizes?

Probably not, but if you're ok with the guys' style I would think that the medium or large would fit. I haven't seen the shirts first hand yet and we may not end up going with this exact style.
